Katie Price questions future of marriage amid Lee Andrews’ travel ban drama
The reality star claims she will end the relationship if she is not satisfied with his explanation
Katie Price has opened up about the growing uncertainty surrounding her marriage to Lee Andrews, revealing she is waiting for clarity before deciding whether to walk away from the relationship.
The 48-year-old reality star recently travelled to Dubai, where she visited Andrews three times at Al Awir Central Prison and also spoke to him by phone through what she described as a difficult and emotionally charged situation.
According to Price, Andrews told her he is currently under a travel ban, something she claims he only confirmed after repeated conversations.
“He has a travel ban, he did eventually tell me,” Katie Price said, adding that she challenged him over earlier claims that he was attempting to travel to the UK despite not arriving as expected.
“The big deal is, you keep videoing, saying you’re at the airport, and you’re coming to England, and you don’t turn up,” she said.
Price also addressed speculation surrounding Andrews’ legal situation, saying she does not feel naive about the allegations but believes she is “protected” and aware of the concerns raised publicly.
The TV personality, who has been open about her turbulent personal life in the past, said she is reserving judgment until she speaks to Andrews face-to-face.
“I’m not a mug, and when I finally see Lee, I am going to question him,” she said. “And if the answers I get are not right, that will be it: I’ll be done.”
Price also revealed she was prepared to contribute financially toward Andrews’ release, reportedly offering £6,500, though she was informed the required amount was significantly higher at around £140,000, according to reports.
Her concerns were further heightened after meeting Andrews’ ex-partner Taji, who allegedly warned her about his past behaviour.
Taji has previously accused Andrews of taking out a £200,000 mortgage in her name without her knowledge, claims he has denied.
Following the meeting, Price admitted she was left conflicted about what to believe.
“My eyes have been opened. I just need some time to think,” she said, adding that she is unable to make a final decision until she has spoken directly with Andrews.
Sources close to the situation have described Price as emotionally overwhelmed by the ongoing developments, with some suggesting she fears another divorce may be on the horizon.
Reports also claim that Andrews previously spent time in a Dubai jail following legal disputes connected to his former relationship, which contributed to a travel ban being imposed.
