Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs Tight End, flew from a mandatory team minicamp in Kansas City, Missouri, to New York City on Thursday to witness fiancée Taylor Swift make history as the youngest woman ever inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Video footage captured Kelce, 36, seated beside Swift, 36, inside the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City for the prestigious ceremony. Making it a family occasion, both of their mothers — Andrea Swift and Donna Kelce — were also at the table.

Billboard shared footage on X of the group seated together ahead of the induction, showing the full family front row for Swift's milestone evening.

Kelce had spent three days at a mandatory Kansas City Chiefs minicamp before boarding a flight to the Big Apple. The minicamp, which concluded the same day as the ceremony, involved strength and conditioning activities, on-field drills, and offensive versus defensive exercises, as confirmed by the Chiefs.

The three-time Super Bowl winner is preparing to return for his 14th season with the NFL side, with training camp scheduled for next month.

Swift makes history at the Songwriters Hall of Fame

Swift qualified for induction after the 20th anniversary of her debut single, "Tim McGraw," released in 2006, combined with her expansive and critically recognised music catalogue. Her key tracks acknowledged by the Songwriters Hall of Fame include "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version)," "Blank Space," "Anti-Hero," "Love Story," and "The Last Great American Dynasty."

She was inducted alongside Alanis Morissette, Kenny Loggins, and KISS musicians Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. Other inductees on the night were Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, Walter Afanasieff, Graham Lyle, and Terry Britten.

Dancing with Beyoncé and chatting with Spielberg

Swift was also captured in social media clips dancing with Kelce to Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" during the evening. She was also seen chatting with director Steven Spielberg, who was seated beside her, as she danced to Rihanna's "Umbrella."

A busy week for Swift

Thursday's induction capped a packed week of public appearances for the Grammy winner. On Tuesday, she attended the Toy Story 5 premiere in Los Angeles, where she performed "You Got A Friend in Me" alongside Randy Newman. Her new track, "I Knew It, I Knew You," will also feature in the forthcoming Pixar film.

On Wednesday, Swift attended Game 4 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden alongside actress Mariska Hargitay and two members of the HAIM sisters.

Wedding at Madison Square Garden

Swift will return to Madison Square Garden in the near future for an occasion even more personal — her wedding to Kelce, which is set to take place at the venue on or around the July 3 weekend.
