Mikayla Nogueira reveals emergency surgery after on-camera collapse

Beauty influencer Mikayla Nogueira has revealed she was rushed to hospital after collapsing while filming a TikTok video, later discovering she required emergency appendix surgery.

The 28-year-old shared an update with her followers in a video posted from hospital, where she was seen in a gown and walking with the help of an IV drip as she recounted the medical emergency.

According to Nogueira, she initially began experiencing severe pain while travelling from Los Angeles to Massachusetts. She said she attempted to rest during the flight but woke up feeling worse upon arrival.

Despite her condition, she tried to continue working and began filming a makeup tutorial, but the situation quickly escalated.

“I called 911 after I passed out from the pain,” she explained, adding that she struggled to breathe before collapsing on set, which led to an ambulance being called and her immediate hospital admission.

Following medical tests, doctors conducted a CT scan that revealed her appendix was close to rupturing, requiring urgent surgery.

In a follow-up update, Nogueira confirmed she is now recovering and has undergone surgery involving three incisions. She said she is currently struggling with mobility but is being supported at home by her boyfriend, Zach.

She also reflected on her personal life, noting that the couple reconnected after knowing each other since high school, despite ongoing divorce proceedings from her estranged husband, Cody Hawken.

Nogueira reassured fans that she is resting and focusing on recovery, adding that the next few days will be a slow but necessary healing period.
