Katy Perry plans European yacht getaway with Justin Trudeau
Katy Perry is reportedly planning to combine work and leisure during her upcoming European tour, with the singer said to be considering bringing her private yacht overseas for trips with boyfriend Justin Trudeau between performances.
According to a source cited by Page Six, Perry hopes to use breaks in her touring schedule to travel with the former Canadian prime minister and possibly their children during the summer.
“Between touring she would like to cruise to some beautiful places with her boyfriend and possibly their kids,” the source told the outlet.
The reported plans come as Perry and Trudeau's relationship continues to attract public attention following a series of high-profile appearances together over the past year.
Yacht Getaways Could Accompany European Tour
Perry's European tour is scheduled to begin in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, on June 18, launching a busy stretch of performances across the continent.
The singer reportedly owns a 78-foot yacht named Caravelle, a vintage vessel built in 1965 that accommodates up to eight guests as well as a crew of three.
While Perry could opt to charter a yacht in Europe, the source claimed bringing her own vessel would offer greater privacy.
“Her own yacht would give her more privacy” because it would involve “her own staff,” the source said.
The yacht has previously featured in public sightings of the couple. Photographs of Perry and Trudeau embracing aboard the vessel attracted widespread attention after circulating online in October 2025.
Relationship Continues to Draw Attention
Perry shares five-year-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom with former fiancé Orlando Bloom, while Trudeau shares three children — Xavier, 18, Ella-Grace, 17, and Hadrien, 12 — with former wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau.
Speculation about a future family holiday comes amid growing public interest in the couple's relationship.
The pair recently attended the Tribeca Festival premiere of Perry's concert documentary, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour — Live From Paris, in New York City.
According to attendees quoted by Page Six, Perry and Trudeau were seen holding hands, embracing and dancing together throughout the event.
Perry Opens Up About Being “Very in Love”
During the festival, Perry offered some of her most personal comments yet about the relationship, describing Trudeau as a stabilising presence in her life.
“I’m very in love,” the singer said.
“Before that [Paris] show, I met the love of my life, and I felt very anchored by that.”
Perry went on to explain that she often sees herself as someone who is constantly reaching for new experiences and ambitions.
“I’m a bit of a rainbow type,” she said, adding that she likes “to fly super high.”
“Sometimes I need to be anchored,” Perry continued. “And to have that anchor finally makes me feel really whole now.”
Romance First Emerged in 2025
Rumours of a relationship between Perry and Trudeau first surfaced in July 2025 when the pair were spotted together in Montreal.
Interest in the romance intensified in the months that followed, and the couple made their relationship Instagram official in December by sharing photographs from a trip to Tokyo.
Since then, they have been seen together on multiple occasions, with public appearances and social media posts offering glimpses into their relationship.
If Perry ultimately decides to bring her yacht to Europe, the vessel could provide a private retreat between tour stops as the couple continue balancing family life, travel and increasingly public attention surrounding their romance.
