Former 'Ellen' star Sophia Grace Brownlee expecting baby no. 3 with sweet announcement

Sophia Grace Brownlee is expecting her third child at the age of 23.

The former Ellen DeGeneres Show star announced the happy news with a sweet video shared on Instagram, showing her children, son River and daughter Athena, looking at the baby’s sonogram.

In the clip, Sophia sat outside in a garden while sharing the special moment with her children. 

She captioned the post, “We are so excited to meet you,” while teasing that a gender reveal announcement is “coming soon.”

Fans quickly filled the comments with congratulatory messages, celebrating the journey of the former child star who first became famous more than a decade ago.

Sophia rose to fame in 2011 when she and her cousin Rosie McClelland appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show after their performance of Super Bass went viral online.

The cousins became fan favorites after appearing on the show wearing their signature pink tutus and tiaras, turning their viral moment into a successful entertainment career.

Sophia welcomed her first child, son River, in March 2023 when she was 19 years old. She later welcomed her daughter Athena in January 2025 at the age of 21.

Speaking on Private Story, Sophia reflected on becoming a young mother and said she does not regret starting her family at a young age.

She explained that while she was young when she had her first child, she believes there is no perfect age to become a parent as long as someone is ready and mature enough.

Sophia also shared that her early success helped her become financially stable enough to support her family, saying she feels grateful for the opportunities that came from her childhood fame.

The singer has continued building her own career while embracing motherhood, following the same entertainment path as Rosie, who also pursued music after their early success together.
