Neymar has confirmed that he is expecting his fifth child, revealing that he and his girlfriend Bruna Biancardi are preparing to welcome a baby girl.
The 34-year-old soccer star shared the announcement in a video posted online, where the couple appeared alongside their children during a playful gender reveal moment.
In the clip, Neymar and Biancardi are seen outdoors with their daughters Mavie and Mel, along with Neymar’s teenage son Davi from a previous relationship.
The family can be seen smearing paint on each other, which is later revealed to be pink, confirming the baby’s gender.
Biancardi also shared the video on social media, captioning it, “We’ve got some news to tell you,” as fans flooded the post with congratulatory messages.
The upcoming child will be Neymar’s fifth. In addition to his two daughters with Biancardi and son Davi, the footballer is also father to a daughter named Helena, born in 2024, from a previous relationship.
Alongside his personal milestone, Neymar is currently dealing with a calf injury that has sidelined him during international duties.
He has reportedly been undergoing further medical evaluation after missing training sessions with Brazil’s national team ahead of upcoming fixtures.
Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti previously expressed hope that Neymar could return to training soon, noting that the player was working hard on his recovery.
