Former The Bachelor winner Courtney Robertson has filed for divorce from husband Humberto Preciado after nearly six years of marriage.

Robertson confirmed the split in a statement to People, saying she decided to end the marriage after learning information that "irreparably damaged" the trust between them. The former couple share three children.

Robertson says trust was irreparably damaged

Robertson described the decision to file for divorce as one of the most difficult periods of her life.

"After learning information that irreparably damaged the trust in our marriage, I made the difficult decision to file for divorce," she said.

The reality TV personality added that her three children remain her highest priority as she focuses on providing them with a healthy and stable environment.

She also said she is committed to co-parenting "with kindness and respect" and requested privacy as the family adjusts to the next chapter.

Preciado declined to comment when contacted by People.

Couple married in 2020 after meeting on Instagram

Robertson and attorney Humberto Preciado tied the knot in October 2020 during an intimate ceremony in Sedona, Arizona, after scaling back their original wedding plans because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The pair first connected after Preciado liked several of Robertson's Instagram posts, prompting her to send him a direct message before they began dating.

Ahead of their wedding, Robertson described Preciado as someone who "feels like home" after previously saying she had almost given up on finding love.

Former Bachelor star shares three children with Preciado

The former couple welcomed three children during their marriage: son Joaquin, daughter Paloma and son Gabriel.

Robertson announced the birth of their youngest child, Gabriel, in April 2024, sharing that the family was healthy and excited to become a family of five.

Before marrying Preciado, Robertson rose to fame after winning Ben Flajnik's season of The Bachelor. The pair got engaged during the 2012 finale but ended their relationship later that year.
