Timothée Chalamet confessed he was the one feeling 'starstruck' after meeting the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders while attending the France vs Spain FIFA World Cup semi-final at Dallas Stadium on Tuesday.
The Oscar-nominated actor greeted members of the famous cheer squad in a video shared on Instagram by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and the NFL, where he hugged several cheerleaders before introducing himself.
"Yo, nice to meet you guys," Chalamet said before turning to the camera and joking, "I'm starstruck."
Actor supports France at World Cup semi-final
Chalamet attended the match wearing a France jacket in support of the national team. Stadium footage showed fans cheering when they spotted the actor, although some spectators booed after he pointed to the French crest on his jacket.
The appearance came as Spain defeated France to secure a place in the FIFA World Cup final.
Sports outings continue for Chalamet
The World Cup appearance is the latest example of Chalamet's passion for sports.
Earlier this year, he celebrated on the court after the New York Knicks won the NBA championship, later telling ESPN's SportsCenter that the title meant more to him than winning an Oscar.
Chalamet has become a regular presence at Knicks games in recent seasons, often attending alongside girlfriend Kylie Jenner. The couple also joined fans during New York City's championship parade, with the actor later sharing an Instagram Stories post celebrating the team's successful playoff run.
