Jennifer Lopez's first husband, Ojani Noa, has claimed the singer's marriage to Ben Affleck was a "publicity stunt" designed to put her back in the spotlight.
In an interview with The Sun, Noa alleged Lopez's 2022 marriage to Affleck, whom she first dated in the early 2000s, was intended to generate public attention. He also described the actress as "emotional" and "insecure" during their relationship, while questioning the public image she has built over the years.
Lopez and Noa married in 1997 following a whirlwind romance before divorcing the following year. She later rekindled her relationship with Affleck, and the pair married in 2022 before separating in 2024.

Noa also disputed Lopez's long-standing public narrative about her upbringing, claiming she came from a comfortable middle-class background and was already financially secure before achieving global fame.
His latest comments follow previous allegations that their marriage ended after he accused Lopez of having an affair with then-boyfriend Sean "Diddy" Combs. Lopez has not publicly responded to Noa's new claims.
