Justin Baldoni's wife Emily appears to shade Blake Lively in anniversary post

Justin Baldoni and his wife, Emily Baldoni, celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary with heartfelt Instagram tributes, but one of Emily's comments quickly sparked speculation among fans.

The couple, who married in July 2013, each shared throwback photos from their wedding on July 27 to mark the occasion.

Emily's caption fuels online speculation

Justin posted a wedding photo and wrote, "13 years later… we're still dancing. Happy anniversary, my love. I'm pretty sure this was the exact moment my pants ripped open," followed by a laughing emoji. #FinallyTeenagers.

Emily shared a black-and-white wedding photo and captioned it, "Marriage: still my favorite lift," followed by a playful winking emoji with tongue out. "Thirteen, baby!!"

While the post appeared to celebrate their anniversary, some social media users speculated that the phrase "favorite lift" referenced Blake Lively's past allegation that Baldoni made comments about her weight while preparing to film a scene in It Ends With Us.

Emily has not indicated that the caption was intended as a reference to Lively.

Anniversary comes after legal dispute

Emily has publicly supported Justin throughout his legal dispute with Lively, which began in December 2024.

Following a settlement between the two parties in May, Justin and Emily shared a video message on Instagram in July, saying they were focused on healing and prioritising their family, friends and faith.

"We are healing," Justin said, adding that recovery from difficult experiences "isn't linear."

Justin previously shared secret to lasting marriage

Speaking to PEOPLE in October 2024, Justin described marriage as "a fortress" that protects a couple through life's challenges.

The couple share two children, daughter Maiya Grace and son Maxwell Roland-Samuel, and have been married for 13 years.
