Kendra Wilkinson admits real estate struggles after emotional career setback

Kendra Wilkinson is opening up about the emotional challenges she's facing as she continues to build her career in real estate, revealing that being fired by a client left her in tears.

The 41-year-old television personality, who stepped away from reality TV to pursue a career as a real estate agent, admitted the latest setback has been especially difficult despite her efforts to stay focused on work and family.

Sharing her frustration on Instagram, Wilkinson wrote, "When a client fires you … after all the work you put in... Ya. I'm struggling today guys."

The former Kendra on Top star later became emotional while addressing fans through Instagram Stories, explaining that the experience had taken a personal toll.

"I know that we're living in a world of struggle right now. I know that, but it's hard right now. I feel like I'm doing everything right in my life. I'm raising my kids. I'm putting them first. I'm doing everything good," she said through tears.

Wilkinson, who shares son Hank, 16, and daughter Alijah, 12, with her ex-husband, former NFL player Hank Baskett, said the difficulties have made her question herself.

"I'm a good person, and it's just such a struggle right now finding people to work with me, getting fired, people being rude and mean — it's taking a toll," she added.

However, just hours later, the reality star returned to social media with a more optimistic outlook, thanking fans for their messages of encouragement and support.

"Hey guys, I want to thank you so much for the prayers and the well wishes and the thoughts and everything and all the positive messages I'm getting. Today was a rough one, but I put in some eye drops, put on my face, and I'm ready to take on a new day," she said.

Wilkinson ended her message on a hopeful note, adding, "Got to get back up, right? I do have to brush my hair, but it's time to fight a new one and live and enjoy and be grateful for the things I do have. I love you guys. Thank you."

The former reality star earned her real estate licence in June 2020 after deciding to shift her career away from television and into the property business.
