Prince George shares strong bond with Zara and Mike Tindall

Prince George relies on his godmother Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall for support, forming a strong bond with the royal family members. The young prince, who is second in line to the British throne, shares a close connection with the couple as he prepares for his future role in the monarchy.

The Daily Mail reported that royal biographer Robert Jobson highlighted the unique relationship between the young royal and the couple. Jobson noted that Zara, who is the first cousin of Prince William and the only daughter of Princess Anne, interacts with George without any deference. He explained that she teases him and that George feels comfortable around adults who expect nothing from him.

Jobson added that former rugby player Mike Tindall has developed an equally significant relationship with the young prince. Unlike other adults surrounding the future king who focus solely on winning, Mike speaks candidly to George about losing. Having experienced public defeat in front of 80,000 spectators during his sporting career, Mike uses humour the following morning to address the topic openly.

The updates come alongside details regarding the young prince's upcoming transition to Eton College. Prince George will receive specialised security measures on campus due to his royal status and future responsibilities within the royal family. However, the school will maintain its strict regulations without exception for all 260 incoming students.

Eton enforces a single-room policy that prohibits shared dormitories for incoming pupils, meaning George will forego bunking with peers. While shared boarding environments typically foster compromise and empathy, the single-room rule offers relief to the Prince and Princess of Wales regarding their son's living arrangements.
