Netflix's 'You' star Penn Badgley converts to Islam?

Penn Badgley, who has become famous for his role as Joe Goldberg in Netflix's popular show You, has responded to a tweet that surfaced about his conversion to Islam.

One of the Twitter users shared an actor screenshot from the GQ and Maison Valentino photoshoot and stated that “I thought man converted to Islam for a second. Happy Ramadan brother Penn Badgley.”

In the shared screenshot, Badgley can be seen in a getup commonly adopted by Muslims during Ramadan, leading the user to think that the actor has converted to Islam.

The 36-year-old actor responded to the tweet by calling it one of his favorite takes and commented: “You’re not too far off, I just finished fasting as a Bahá’í for our month of ‘Alá. Happy Fasting this Ramadan fam.”

After that Twitter users went crazy and started posting memes in reply to the actor’s tweet, one of the users wrote: “My bro doesn't only care and kill for love, but he prays and fasts too. Legend!”
