Armeena Rana Khan condemns Maryam Nawaz's lavish table spread

Pakistani actress Armeena Rana Khan , who is against the now politics, slams the  PMLN senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz for  showing off food  in the times of an economic turmoil and receives backlash in return. 

While millions in the country die of hunger our now politicians are living extravagant lives. This act was clearly disapproved by the Janaan star. 

However, Khan's  protest did not sit well with the Nawaz fans. 

She not only got trolled for it but her luxurious habits were also compared to that of Nawaz, calling her out for all the shopping she did for her newly-born daughter Amelia. 

The Bin Roye star retweeted a  video of Nawaz making fruit chaat for iftar,  "Honey, this is in bad taste (politics aside). You showing off your food while millions in your country are dying?" 

As soon as Khan's statement went viral one user asked her to 'let it go' and not indulge in such sensitive political talks on a public forum as they could pose as a risk and that Nawaz is reminding that she is just human. 

To this she replied,  "First of all, she didn’t prepare for that, I can tell you that. Just moving the spoon around is not food ‘prep’, those sleeves would be mucky. Also, she is anything but normal but whatever floats your boat or doesn’t." 

While the new mom did fight off all criticism on Twitter little did she know Nawaz fans would attack her on Instagram as well. 

On sharing a basket  received for her daughter , a user slid into her DM's and wrote,  "Here a lot of people are dying and you're buying more stuff for your kid? (in favour of Maryam Nawaz)."

Clearing her stance, Khan adds, "I’d like to draw attention to the fact that this is a gift. Also, nobody in my country is dying but millions in hers are starving/dying. Anyway, wishing you happy new brain cells."
