Selena Gomez ‘plays victim card' in now-deleted post

Selena Gomez has been receiving a lot of criticism recently for playing a “victim card” in her now-deleted social media post amid the ongoing “genocide” in Palestine.

This won’t be the first time Selena is getting trolled on social media for playing the “victim card.”

Previously, many netizens called her out for her victim complex behavior.

A few hours ago, the Calm Down crooner posted an Instagram Story about “not supporting” any side during a “genocide.”

However, 15 minutes later, she deleted the story after receiving heavy criticism.

Selena wrote, “I’m taking a break and deleting my Instagram. I’m done. I do not support any of what’s going on.”

Shortly after she deleted the Instagram Story, her followers started cancelling her on social media.

A user wrote on X, “Selena gomez needs to stop. Like you have time to go on tiktok and like 3 years ago videos about your ex and his wife but you can’t talk about Palestine without making it about yourself.”

Another wrote, “a literal genocide going on right now and selena gomez STILL found a way to make it about herself.”

“Someone tells Selena Gomez that this isn’t about her, but about little kids, men, and women who have been suffering for years,” third one penned.

“she is still playing the victim card and making a genocide about herself, shame,” another user wrote.

Selena Gomez last statement on ‘genocide’ in Palestine :

Selena wrote, “I've been taking a break from social media because my heart breaks to see all of the horror, hate, violence and terror that's going on in the world. People being tortured and killed or any act of hate towards any one group is horrific. We need to protect ALL people, especially children and stop the violence for good.”
