Recently, Jimmy Fallon addressed a tweet to Elon Musk which was circulating on Twitter as a joke; #RIPJimmyFallon on November 15.

Jimmy, highlighting the hashtag, asked Elon Musk on Twitter: “Elon, can you fix this?” to which the new CEO Twitter responded, asking: “Fix what?”

Musk also added another lighthearted tweet asking Fallon to verify his identity.

“Wait a second, how do we know you’re not an alien body snatcher pretending to be Jimmy! Say something only the real Jimmy would say… wrote Elon.”

So far, the 48-year-old talk show host has not responded to the tweets, but the exchange of jokes between the two made several Twitter users amused. The Twitter users also liked the reaction of the joke which they got from both Elon and Jimmy.

#RIPJimmyFallon started trending on Twitter soon after Elon started making numerous changes to the widely used social media platforms as he recently bought the company. The changes include firing many full-time employees and introducing a new verification option that costs around $7.99 per month.

Tesla owner revealed that he is trying to make Twitter as authentic as possible and will ban all those users who are imitating others if they did not clearly mention it their name and bio whether they are a parody account or not, reports Hollywoodlife.
