Sydney Sweeney clarifies plastic surgery speculations amid ‘Christy’ promotion

Sydney Sweeney recently shared her honest stance on the idea of undergoing plastic surgery procedures.

In a conversation with Variety on Monday, October 26, during the promotion of her new movie Christy, the 28-year-old actress opened up about her thoughts on artificial beauty standards.

"I’ve never gotten anything done. I’m absolutely terrified of needles. No tattoos. Nothing. I’m going to age gracefully," Sweeney said.

The Euphoria star added, "It’s really funny. I’ll see things online like ‘comparison pictures.’ I’m like, ‘I’m 12 in that photo. Of course, I’m going to look different. I have makeup on now, and I’m 15 years older."

Although Sweeney has not addressed the ongoing speculations about whether she has undergone any cosmetic procedures, she has yet to confirm any such claims.

These remarks came during the premiere of her new action film Christy at the star-studded AFI Festival in Los Angeles.
