The 79-year-old singer, as reported by The Sun, is in talks to work on a seven-episode Netflix series about her life and career.
A source, in this regard, claimed that the After All singer “has been in talks with Netflix for months and, finally, the deal is as good as done".
Made on a budget of $17 million, the upcoming series will delve into the highs and lows of her life.
Titled as Sharing Her Story, the hour-long episode-based series will be premiering on Netflix in 2026, alongside the second part of her memoir.
In her memoir titled "Cher: The Memoir, Part One", the entertainer detailed her struggles for independence, her personal and professional struggles as a woman and female artist, and the complicated, controlling dynamic of her marriage to Sonny Bono.
In short, Cher's memoir, which was published in 2024, is widely described her life as a "tumultuous" journey due to her “difficult” childhood marked by poverty and instability.
