According to local reports, Cunha Lima was exiting a gym in Salvador, Brazil, on March 25 when a gunman on a motorcycle approached and opened fire. The suspect fled the scene immediately after the shooting.

Authorities have since launched an investigation into the killing. The 1st Homicide Division of Salvador is leading the case, though officials have not yet identified a motive or announced any arrests.

Cunha Lima had built a modest but dedicated following on social media, with more than 7,000 followers on Instagram.

He was known for sharing fitness advice and promoting healthy living, often offering guidance on weight loss and muscle building based on his decades of experience in the field.

His content also extended to family health, with one of his most recent posts offering tips to parents on making healthier food choices for their children. His social media accounts have remained inactive since the incident, and no official statement has been shared there regarding his death.
