Zendaya highlights ‘perfect wedding’ essentials amid ongoing marriage speculation
The 'Dune' actress's surprise song choice reveals how she gets any wedding party started
Zendaya has opened up about what makes a wedding truly unforgettable, just as speculation continues to build over her rumored marriage to fiancé Tom Holland.
Speaking to People at the Los Angeles premiere of The Drama on March 17, the actress revealed that one key ingredient defines a successful celebration: music.
“Good music, really good music,” Zendaya said, emphasizing how it sets the tone for the entire event.
“Dance is a universal language… it gets the vibes going and starts the party.”
The 29-year-old star, who appears in the wedding-themed film alongside Robert Pattinson, even named her go-to track to energize a crowd—“This Is How We Do It” by Montell Jordan, calling it a guaranteed way to get guests on their feet.
Her comments come amid ongoing rumors that she and Holland may have already tied the knot in secret.
The speculation intensified after stylist Law Roach suggested at the 2026 Actor Awards that the couple were already married.
Fueling the buzz further, Zendaya stepped onto the red carpet in a bridal-inspired white Vivienne Westwood gown originally worn by her at the 2015 Oscars, paired with what appeared to be both an engagement ring and a gold wedding band.
While she did not directly address the marriage rumors, Zendaya offered a glimpse into her personality as a wedding guest, describing herself as hands-on and eager to help.
“What do you need me to do?” she said. “Whatever you need, I’m there.”
The couple first sparked engagement speculation in early 2025 when Zendaya was seen wearing a diamond ring at the Golden Globe Awards.
At the time, sources said Holland had long intended to propose, describing their relationship as “very special.”
As anticipation builds around both her personal life and upcoming film, The Drama is set to hit theaters nationwide on April 3, keeping Zendaya firmly in the spotlight on and off the screen.
