Nicholas Hoult’s wife claps back at body-shaming after Vanity Fair Oscar Party appearance

Bryana Holly has addressed online criticism following her appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, where she attended alongside partner Nicholas Hoult.

The model, 32, faced body-shaming comments after wearing a black sequined gown with a plunging neckline.

In response, Holly took to social media to directly confront remarks about her appearance, particularly those focused on her chest.

“I am seeing the comments around my chest,” she wrote, before explaining, “This is the product of a breastfeeding mother who hasn’t fed her babies in hours… If you know then you know.”

She concluded her message firmly, adding: “You are not owed an explanation.”

Holly and Hoult, who have been together since 2017, share two children — an eight-year-old son and a younger child born in 2022.

The couple have largely kept their family life private, with Hoult occasionally referencing Holly as his wife in past interviews.

The response comes as conversations around body image and unrealistic expectations continue to dominate online spaces, particularly following high-profile red carpet appearances.

Hoult, 36, has previously spoken about the realities of parenthood, describing both the exhaustion and the overwhelming sense of fulfillment it brings.

“The level of love… outweighs everything,” he said in a past interview.
