The Hollywood Reporter described the movie — about a woman who starts a housekeeping job in a creepy luxury building in Manhattan — as “a thrilling, gruesome tale of revenge on the wealthy.”

“Reminders of Him,” a romantic drama adapted from a Colleen Hoover book, secured the fourth spot with earnings of $1.51 million on its third Friday in theaters.

The Indian espionage action thriller “Dhurandhar The Revenge” landed in fifth, with box office sales slightly exceeding $1.3 million.
