RHOBH's Bozoma Saint John responds to Sarah Michelle Gellar's critique

As Andy Cohen starts a disagreement with Sarah Michelle Gellar regarding her remarks on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, one of the show's stars has spoken up.

Bozoma Saint John, a newer member from last season of the Bravo reality series, shared her thoughts, noting that even though Gellar labelled Season 15 as “boring,” the current episodes “pave the way for an amazing” Season 16.

“Here's the reality,” she told Page Six. “There need to be times when you delve deeper, and sometimes digging deep doesn’t require lots of action, you know, because our experiences are genuinely authentic.”

Saint John pointed out, “There's plenty of drama unfolding. This doesn't always translate to conflicts amongst us, but there's drama happening in each of our personal lives, and it’s important to allow space for that. I genuinely believe it lays the groundwork for an outstanding forthcoming season as well. You let the storyline develop, right? So things are escalating. We need to let it evolve.”

Even though the former Netflix CMO had a considered reaction to Gellar’s remarks, executive producer Andy Cohen was less open to the Buffy star’s feedback during an appearance on Page Six Radio, which takes place in his Radio Andy studio.

“And I was thinking, ‘You know what? Don’t bring someone into my studio to criticise my show,'” retorted Cohen. “Maybe, the door should be closed when I exit? How about giving it a second thought before spreading it on social media, which highlights ‘Andy’ prominently behind SMG. She is mistaken, by the way.”

In response to Gellar's stance, she stated she is “completely obsessed” with RHOBH and “I adore Boz,” yet when questioned about Season 15, she confessed, “I find it dull.”

“It drags on,” Gellar mentioned, yet acknowledged, “It’s just beginning to gain momentum now.”

Airing Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is approaching its Season 15 conclusion, with the reunion episode having been filmed earlier this month.
