Scarlett Johansson gets candid about being ‘buzzing’ at her first concert

Scarlett Johansson has opened up about her very first concert experience—and it was a wild ride she barely remembers.

The 41-year-old actress appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday, April 2, where she revealed that her first concert was none other than Cypress Hill at New York City’s now-defunct Roseland Ballroom.

“I’m still buzzing from it, man. I am,” Johansson told Colbert. “I must have gone with a friend. I don’t remember, because I was so high… I think it was at Roseland.”

Johansson shared a vivid memory from the show, recalling how the hip-hop group rolled a massive blunt “like the size of a Blimpie sub” and smoked it on stage, passing it around the venue.

“Those were the days, man,” she said, laughing as she reminisced about the chaotic, unforgettable night.

The conversation with Colbert didn’t stop there. Johansson also shared her thoughts on her biggest phobia: cockroaches.

“I hate cockroaches. Like, I really, really, really, really hate them,” she admitted. “Big water bugs? Ugh! Those are awful. That is an insect from hell.”

The Black Widow actress also touched on family life in recent interviews, including the challenges of naming her 4-year-old son, Cosmo, with husband Colin Jost.

Johansson revealed that she initially kept the name private to avoid judgment from family and friends.
