'Sinners' star Hailee Steinfeld celebrates arrival of baby girl with Josh Allen
The couple first revealed their pregnancy in December 2025 with a heartfelt Instagram video
Hailee Steinfeld and her husband, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, have welcomed their first child together, and the Sinners star’s family is already embracing their new roles.
Following Steinfeld’s announcement on her Substack newsletter, her parents and brother shared their excitement in the comments, playfully declaring themselves “officially clocked in.”
“Cha Cha officially clocked in!!!” wrote her mom, Cheri Steinfeld, revealing her grandma nickname.
Her dad, Peter Steinfeld, followed with, “Pop Pop officially clocked in!! [emojis],” while brother Griffin, 32, a professional race car driver, added, “Uncle Griffin officially clocked in!! [emojis}.”
Steinfeld herself confirmed the arrival of her baby girl in a Substack post titled “Special Delivery.”
She wrote: “Our baby girl has arrived!! We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savoring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
In a follow-up post on April 3, the actress shared:
“Thank you for all your kind words and messages yesterday! To say we are unbelievably happy and in love with this baby girl would be an understatement. I’m soaking in the newborn bliss, but I’ll still be writing here every week.”
Steinfeld and Allen first revealed they were expecting in December 2025, sharing a joyful video on Instagram where Allen tenderly kissed her pregnant belly.
The couple, who began dating in 2023, married in Santa Barbara, California, on May 31, 2025.
Allen, speaking at a January press conference, described his excitement about fatherhood:
“It’s something that I will take with great pride. This is the most important thing I’ll ever be in my life, being a dad. I love being a quarterback, but I’m looking forward to this one.”
Steinfeld has also reflected on her transition into motherhood in her Substack blog Beau Society, writing about the profound awareness and anticipation she felt preparing for the baby:
“While tuning in, I’ve experienced this surreal, full-body awareness that our world is about to expand in beautiful ways. We’re getting ready to meet someone we already love so much… For now, I’m blessed to be settling into the feeling.”
