Trailer launch: Joseph Zada, Whitney Peak debut in 'The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping'

Under the direction of Francis Lawrence, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping returns to the universe of Panem and centers on a young Haymitch Abernathy (Zada) 24 years prior to the events of The Hunger Games, beginning on the day of the reaping for the 50th Hunger Games, also recognized as the Second Quarter Quell.
Francis Lawrence has directed the movie from a script penned by Billy Ray. Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, and Francis Lawrence have taken on the roles of producers for the film.
The talented cast features Joseph Zada, Jesse Plemons, Ralph Fiennes, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, McKenna Grace, Maya Hawke, Whitney Peak, and Kelvin Harrison Jr.
The movie is slated for release on November 20.
The Hunger Games series consists of five books that have achieved sales exceeding 100 million copies worldwide and have been made available in 52 languages, along with a sensational film series that has attained more than $3.4 billion globally with its five films.
Sunrise on the Reaping surpassed 1.5 million book sales worldwide during its initial week, establishing the most successful launch for any installment in Collins’ Hunger Games collection.
In the United States, the book sold 1.2 million copies, outpacing the opening sales of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes more than twofold and tripling the launch numbers of Mockingjay.
