Oasis Knebworth comeback rumours grow as 2027 VIP tickets allegedly on sale
Fans of Oasis may have their wish fulfilled for a Knebworth comeback in 2027
Fans of Oasis may have their wish fulfilled for a Knebworth comeback in 2027, with exclusive VIP tickets expected to "be available soon."
For months, speculation has been rampant that after mending their 16-year rift, the Gallagher brothers will return to the legendary 90s concert venue following a major stadium tour last year.
Premier Events, known for providing exclusive tickets to the band's tour last year, now lists a Knebworth performance scheduled on their site, stating: "OASIS LIVE ’27 ARRIVING SOON…”
If you scroll down, the site addresses numerous questions that fans are likely pondering. One of those inquiries is about whether there's another tour in the works for next year.
]The site further mentions that both Knebworth and Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium are being considered.
Both venues would be fitting choices, given Noel and Liam's loyalty to City, and their performance at the club’s former ground Maine Road in the same year as Knebworth.
Last year, ahead of Oasis' reunion shows, Liam embarked on a tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of the band’s debut album, Definitely Maybe.
A Knebworth comeback this year would have followed naturally, celebrating the 30-year legacy of those iconic concerts.
Back in August 1996, 250,000 fans gathered to witness the band deliver two electrifying performances over the course of one weekend.
Noel proclaimed from the stage: “This is history, unquestionably happening right here and now. This is history.”
The magnitude of the event clearly didn’t faze him.
Recounting the pre-show vibe, he stated: “Before commencing what ranks among the greatest concerts ever, we did not have any team activity.
“I was puffing on a cigarette, Liam was enjoying a beer. Someone approached us and said: ‘It’s time.’ We stepped on stage, played, then exited. There was no gathering for a huddle or prayer.”
Knebworth continues to be a sought-after venue. This year, iconic heavy metal band Iron Maiden is hosting a significant festival to commemorate 50 years of their legacy.
Last year marked Oasis's official reappearance on stage after 16 years, as Liam and Noel resolved their differences following a bitter 2009 fallout at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
The sold-out tour of stadiums was the highlight of the year, with the brothers putting on a united show, silencing the skeptics.
Liam seemingly verified that Oasis would make a comeback during their October performance at Wembley Stadium.
Before closing the set with Champagne Supernova, Liam thanked fans for their unwavering support that brought the band back into the spotlight, hinting at future events.
He remarked: “I want to express my gratitude to you all for believing and helping to revive this band on the global stage. Champagne Supernova. Meet you next year!”
