Billie Eilish’s mother, Maggie Baird, has publicly thanked Justin Bieber after the pop star delivered a surprise onstage moment for her daughter during the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

The emotional moment unfolded on Saturday night, April 18, 2026, in Indio, California, when Bieber invited Eilish on stage during his set and serenaded her with his track One Less Lonely Girl,a nod to their first meeting at Coachella in 2019.

Eilish, a longtime fan of Bieber, appeared visibly emotional as she sat on stage during the performance, which quickly became one of the most talked-about highlights of the festival weekend.

Sharing her reaction on Instagram, Baird called the moment “one of the most touching ever,” reflecting on how deeply meaningful it was for her daughter.

“It sounds crazy, but we watch our children develop these deep, deep connections to artists who move them,” she wrote. “Usually there’s nothing in our power to do.”

Baird went on to describe how the experience marked the culmination of years of admiration from her daughter, noting that attending concerts was often limited during Eilish’s childhood.

“Watching this unimaginable dream come true over many years is so incredible,” she added, thanking Bieber for his “kindness” toward her daughter and family, as well as acknowledging his wife Hailey Bieber.

The surprise appearance came during a headline-packed Coachella set from Bieber, who also brought out guest performers including SZA, Sexyy Red, and Big Sean for collaborative performances.

Bieber’s set featured a mix of fan favorites and live surprises, including acoustic moments and archival throwbacks, with the singer also interacting closely with fans in the crowd during his performance.

At one point, Bieber told the audience his “adrenaline is through the roof,” acknowledging the intensity of the crowd as he delivered a high-energy show that differed slightly from his previous weekend’s setlist.
