Demi Moore reveals a significant aspect of her wellness routine revolves around her nightly relaxation habits
Demi Moore, 63, reveals a significant aspect of her wellness routine revolves around her nightly relaxation habits.
Speaking with Elle in a chat published Tuesday, "The Substance" actress shared she depends on a few daily practices to feel her best.
"I kick off my mornings with meditation and mindfulness. I'm also fond of journaling. Next, I enjoy moving around to get my blood circulating. Additionally, hydration and sleep are top priorities," Moore expressed, emphasising the significance of what she consumes and applies to her skin.
She's realised that her evening processes create a notable difference.
"I've become quite deliberate with my evening rituals. Dedicating time to transition from the day's chaos to a restful state has been transformative, and skincare plays a role in this process," Moore stated.
Ultimately, even small, consistent care practices can make a big impact, as she pointed out.
With the passage of time, Moore said she's become softer on herself and more aligned with her self-care.
"In my youth, I was on a journey to discover myself, which led me in numerous directions. However, today, focusing on long-term health, there’s no space for self-judgment because the pursuit is for strength and wellbeing," Moore shared.
It's led her to be more content with her own identity. "And truly, you are the best version of yourself," she included.
Moore expressed that she's come to view beginnings in a renewed light at this time in her life.
"I've grown fond of the term 'reset.' While I honor my life's journey, there are moments you yearn to reset," Moore disclosed.
"I trust in the strength of choice, so it's not about starting anew; it's about embracing a new path, a fresh direction for yourself at any age."
Moore has previously shared her wellness routines, especially her eating habits.
In a conversation with People in April 2025, she mentioned consuming eggs, steering clear of meat, and prioritising foods rich in nutrients, while allowing herself some treats.
"Honestly, I'm not flawless. I do enjoy Red Bull. It's a favorite for me. But not excessively. Just one," Moore remarked.
She's not alone in discussing her bedtime habits among celebrities.
Hilary Swank expressed to Business Insider in 2024 that she ensures a skincare session before sleep as she "just can't sleep with a dirty face."
Keke Palmer shared with Business Insider in May her habit of falling asleep to sitcoms like "Girlfriends" or "Gilmore Girls" as comfort shows.
Earlier this month, Jane Seymour, 75, shared with Business Insider that she tackles sleep-related stress by keeping a notebook nearby.
