Angelica Vasquez claims her religious identity was mocked while working for Kylie Jenner
- Former employee Angelica Vasquez is suing over alleged religious and national discrimination
- The lawsuit claims senior staff at the Hidden Hills mansion fostered a hostile environment
- Kylie Jenner is named in the suit for failing to address the reported mistreatment
Kylie Jenner has been embroiled in legal trouble following her appearance at Coachella, after a former employee filed a lawsuit alleging a hostile work environment at her Hidden Hills mansion.
Court documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Angelica Vasquez, who joined Jenner's staff in September 2024, claims her tenure was marred by harassment and discrimination.
Initially hired at the beauty mogul’s Beverly Hills residence, Vasquez was relocated to the Hidden Hills property, where she alleges senior staffers mocked her Catholic faith and Salvadorian heritage.
The filing alleges that Vasquez was subjected to derogatory remarks, including being told that "Catholics are horrible people" and receiving threats regarding deportation.
Beyond verbal abuse, the plaintiff claims she faced physical intimidation, such as having clothes hangers thrown at her as a form of reprimand.
Vasquez further alleges she was assigned the most undesirable chores and intentionally isolated by the rest of the domestic team.
Despite reporting these issues, she claims her complaints were ignored, leading to severe anxiety that ultimately forced her resignation in August 2025.
Vasquez is now seeking unpaid wages and damages for emotional distress. Although the lawsuit does not directly accuse Jenner of personal misconduct, it names her for failing to prevent the alleged mistreatment by her senior staff.
Sources close to the reality star have disputed these claims, describing Vasquez as a junior employee who struggled with various workplace performance and attendance issues.
Jenner, who recently launched several successful business ventures, has yet to issue a direct public comment on the matter.
