Netflix has released the first official image and production details for its highly anticipated documentary series, Kylie.
The intimate first look departs from the singer's high-glamour stage persona, showing the Australian pop icon wrapped in a warm coat and looking introspectively into the distance.
The announcement confirms that the three-part series will be produced by Ventureland, the award-winning team behind the Beckham and Wham! documentaries—with John Battsek producing and Michael Harte directing.
The series offers an unprecedented look into Minogue’s life and five-decade career, during which she has sold over 80 million records.
Minogue has reportedly opened her vast personal archives for the project, providing access to home movies and never-before-seen photographs.
The documentary will trace her journey from her breakout role on the soap opera Neighbours in the 1980s to her status as Australia’s biggest-selling artist of all time.
Beyond the music, the "Princess of Pop" will address the public scrutiny she has faced, as well as her experiences with personal loss and serious illness.
According to today’s announcement, the series features candid insights from a close-knit circle of family and collaborators.
Interviewees include her sister Dannii Minogue, former co-star Jason Donovan, musician Nick Cave, and legendary producer Pete Waterman.
While a specific release date has not yet been confirmed, the project was a key highlight of Netflix’s 2026 content slate, suggesting a premiere is imminent.
Minogue, a two-time Grammy winner, recently expanded her relationship with the streaming giant by starring in the Shondaland series The Residence last year.
