Kristin Cavallari admits being paid more than 'Laguna Beach' co-stars
  • Kristin Cavallari earned 2,500 dollars while co-stars received only 2,000 dollars.
  • Lauren Conrad and Stephen Colletti were unaware of the historic pay gap.
  • Original cast members recently reunited for a special twentieth anniversary broadcast

Kristin Cavallari accidentally revealed that she received a higher salary than her fellow "Laguna Beach" castmates during the show's debut season.

The admission took place during a game of wing roulette in a TikTok video with First We Feast, alongside former co-stars Lauren Conrad and Stephen Colletti.

When the trio was asked about their per-episode paycheck for Season 1, Colletti began calculating his total based on a $2,000 seasonal sum. However, Cavallari quickly interjected, asking, "I thought it was $2,500?"

The confession left both Colletti, 40, and Conrad, 40, visibly shocked, as they questioned if she had indeed received more.

The Uncommon James founder gave a mischievous grin to the camera, confirming the higher amount. "I thought we all did," Cavallari, 39, insisted, though she added that she would have filmed the original MTV series "for free" at the time.

Conrad noted that the cast did not participate for the financial reward, remarking, "No one did this for the dollars." The stars also disclosed that their pay for the recent reunion special was not significantly higher than their original earnings.

The group recently reunited for a two-hour Roku special, which premiered on 10 April, marking the first time the original cast appeared together on screen in two decades.

Despite their infamous past feud involving a love triangle with Colletti, Cavallari confirmed that she and Conrad are now friends.

Looking back, Cavallari described the reunion as a therapeutic and "healing" experience that allowed her to finally close the chapter on her "Laguna Beach" history.
