YouTube takes down Clavicular-linked channels over policy circumvention

Braden Peters, the controversial online figure known as Clavicular, is facing renewed action from YouTube after the platform removed several of his additional channels months after terminating his original account.

In a statement, YouTube confirmed the removals were part of ongoing enforcement of its policies, rather than a new violation.

The company stated that Peters’ initial channel was removed in November 2025 due to content that facilitated access to websites associated with prohibited goods or services.

Under platform rules, creators whose accounts are terminated are barred from creating or operating new channels. YouTube said the recently removed accounts were identified as attempts to bypass that restriction.

According to a source familiar with the matter, the additional channels were discovered amid increased scrutiny surrounding the influencer.

After confirming the accounts were linked to Peters, the platform removed them for “circumvention,” adding that it continues to monitor his online activity to prevent further violations.

Peters, 20, responded on social media, claiming the channels were removed “with no warning or explanation” and describing the move as “very sad.”

He said the accounts hosted livestream archives and paid content aimed at helping followers “be the best versions of themselves.”

The New Jersey native has built a large and polarizing following across multiple platforms, promoting a controversial subculture known as “looksmaxxing,” which focuses on enhancing physical appearance often through extreme measures.

His content has drawn criticism from medical professionals and experts, who warn that some of the practices he promotes may pose serious health risks.

These include the use of substances such as testosterone, anabolic steroids and other drugs, as well as dangerous methods like “bone smashing,” which involves repeatedly striking facial bones in an attempt to alter their structure.

Peters has also claimed that prolonged steroid use has affected his fertility, while continuing to advocate for what he calls “ascending”—a dramatic transformation aimed at improving social and romantic success.

Beyond his online presence, the influencer has faced a string of controversies in recent months, including multiple arrests and a hospitalization following a suspected overdose after a livestream abruptly ended earlier in April.

He later said he had recovered, describing the incident as “brutal.”
