Dwayne Johnson’s wife shuts down fake AI baby rumours with humour
The couple laughs off fabricated baby news spreading on social media
Lauren Hashian has pushed back against a wave of false claims circulating online about her family with Dwayne Johnson.
The singer took to Instagram Stories on April 27 to debunk viral, AI-generated posts that falsely suggested the couple had quietly welcomed twins.
Sharing screenshots of the fabricated headlines and manipulated images, including one depicting the pair holding a newborn, Hashian addressed the misinformation with humor.
“Because I thought we’d all enjoy a good Sunday laugh,” she wrote, mocking the claims that had rapidly spread across social media.
One of the widely circulated fake captions alleged, “The internet is melting after Dwayne Johnson and Lauren Hashian revealed the arrival of their twins. No press. No headlines. Just one quiet photo filled with tears, smiles, and something deeply real.”
Hashian responded with sarcasm, writing over the posts, “Apparently I had a baby in Miami,” before adding, “Make that TWO! I had TWO BABIES!!”
The couple, who have been together for years, share two daughters, Jasmine and Tiana, while Johnson is also the father to his eldest daughter, Simone, from his previous marriage to Dany Garcia.
