Sabrina Carpenter stuns at Met Gala in vintage glamour gown with thigh-high slit
Sabrina Carpenter embraced an old Hollywood vibe at Met Gala on Monday
Sabrina Carpenter embraced an old Hollywood vibe at the Met Gala on Monday, stunning in a form-fitting dress with a daring high slit.
The 26-year-old music star dazzled in a beautiful gown crafted from authentic old Hollywood film reels at the glitzy event in New York.
The film reels featured on the dress were from the classic movie featuring Humphrey Bogart and Audrey Hepburn titled Sabrina.
As she made her way up the legendary steps, she confidently displayed her toned legs while smiling brightly at the crowd.
Fans were absolutely delighted with her captivating outfit.
“Her hair is gorgeous, the dress is stunning, everything looks amazing,” expressed one admirer.
“It’s like she wrapped herself in Kodak film,” joked another, using a laughing emoji.
“That's an awesome dress and concept,” remarked another.
“She absolutely nailed it,” added another fan.
Meanwhile, someone else commented: “Sabrina Carpenter’s dress is among the most inventive I’ve seen tonight. I love it.”
However, not everyone was impressed, as some were quick to criticize her attire.
“It's classy, but she could have done so much better,” one individual commented.
“Same old, same old,” criticised another.
Someone else noted, “The dress is beautifully designed, but choosing film strips seems irrelevant to me and doesn’t connect with the theme/dress code?”
This follows on the heels of Sabrina’s spectacular performances at Coachella last month.
The singer delivered a Hollywood-themed showcase known as “Sabrinawood” across two weekends, April 10 and 17.
Her performances featured surprise appearances from legends such as Madonna, Susan Sarandon, Will Ferrell, and Sam Elliott.
The concert setlist included songs from her latest album, Man’s Best Friend, along with hits like Espresso and Feather.
