Meghan Markle shares adorable photos of Prince Archie for seventh birthday

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has shared a heartfelt tribute to her son, Prince Archie, to mark his seventh birthday.

As the young royal celebrated his milestone on 7 May, the former Suits actress released two candid photographs on Instagram to commemorate the occasion.

The images provide a rare glimpse into the private family life of the Sussexes, who have resided in California since stepping back from senior royal duties.

The first photograph shared by the Duchess is a nostalgic throwback from Prince Archie's birth in 2019, featuring him being cradled in the arms of his father, Prince Harry.

In contrast, the second image captures a more current moment, showing the seven-year-old walking along a beach alongside his younger sister, Princess Lilibet.

Accompanying the visual tribute, Meghan Markle included a simple but touching caption that read, "7 years later…happy birthday to our sweet boy."

The Duchess also revealed that the family celebrated the day with a special party at their home. This celebration follows a tradition of intimate family markings; last year, the public saw a photograph of the prince in his pyjamas watching a sunset.

While Princess Lilibet was recently treated to a trip to Disneyland for her fourth birthday, the couple appears to have opted for a more private gathering for Archie this year.
