Woman shares 8 simple lifestyle changes that helped her lose 14 kg
Krishnan outlined eight practical habits that made significant difference in her weight-loss journey
Srishti Krishnan has shared the everyday habits that helped her lose 14 kilograms, dropping from 67 kg to 53 kg through sustainable lifestyle changes rather than restrictive dieting or intense workouts.
In an Instagram post published on April 3, 2026, Krishnan outlined eight practical habits that made a significant difference in her weight-loss journey.
One of her key principles was not completely eliminating junk food. Instead, she allowed herself occasional treats to avoid binge eating. “If I wanted a burger, I ate the burger. Eat it, enjoy it, move on,” she said.
Krishnan also emphasised the importance of daily movement, noting that even a 15-minute walk counted. Rather than focusing on hitting 10,000 steps, she prioritised consistency.
Other habits included limiting carbohydrates at dinner, eating more slowly to recognize fullness cues, and drinking a glass of water before every meal.
She also stopped weighing herself every day, opting for weekly check-ins instead to reduce stress and maintain a healthier mindset.
Improving sleep was another major factor. According to Krishnan, better sleep helped reduce cravings and made it easier to stay on track.
Finally, she encouraged people not to wait for the “perfect” time to begin. Even after an indulgent meal or an off day, she continued with her routine.
Krishnan’s story highlights how small, sustainable habits can support long-term weight loss more effectively than extreme diets or short-term fitness plans.
