Lori Loughlin and daughter Olivia Jade are 'twins' in new video promoting her beauty brand
Lori Loughlin and daughter Olivia Jade stun fans as 'twins' in a new video for beauty brand o.piccola. See the lookalike duo and learn about Olivia's new venture
Lori Loughlin and her 26-year-old daughter, Olivia Jade, have caused a stir online with a new video showing off their striking resemblance. In the clip, posted in May 2026, the pair looked just like twins with their matching wavy brunette locks, brown eyes, high cheekbones, and bronzed skin. Lori opted for a casual look in a beige zip-up sweater, while her daughter wore a white knit top as she applied a new product to her mother's face.
The video was a promotion for Olivia's new beauty brand, o.piccola, which launched with its first product, the "Bronze & Glow Balm". As Olivia promoted the new venture, fans rushed to the comment section to share their amazement at the lookalike duo. "You guys are twins!" said one fan, while another simply wrote: "Sisters," and a third chimed in: "This mother-daughter duo."
A passion since childhood
Olivia recently opened up to Bustle about her journey to becoming a beauty influencer and businesswoman, revealing that it has been a lifelong ambition. "Ever since I was 13 years old, when people would ask 'What do you want to be when you grow up?', I'd say a makeup artist," she said. "When I made my palette with Sephora, it was confirmation that I knew what I wanted to do with the creative, the formulation. Everything was magic when I was 18."
Her older sister, Bella Giannulli, confirmed Olivia's dedication. "She's been doing my makeup since I was probably like eight years old," Bella said. "She's tested more colours [for the brand] than I could even probably explain. She's tested them on me, on our mum, on our friends." Bella added, "She's my younger sister, so it's funny to watch her be 'the boss,' but she's been the boss since she was little - that's always been in her personality."
Addressing plastic surgery rumours
With a brand focused on glowing skin and defined features, it is no surprise that Olivia's own incredible cheekbones have been a topic of discussion - something she attributes entirely to her mother. "On my mother's, father's, sister's, and brother's lives, I swear I have never had cheek filler," she told the publication, addressing persistent rumours. "There's this one interview of me on the red carpet where people were going crazy like, 'She's got to stop filling her cheeks.' I swear it had to be the light or a swollen face... but I can't deny it, it did look like I had filler!"
Moving on from the scandal
The new business venture marks a significant step for Olivia and her family as they continue to move on from several years of intense public scrutiny. For those unversed, Lori was involved in the 2019 college admissions scandal, which saw her serve two months in prison for bribing officials to get her two daughters into the University of Southern California. The fallout was immense, and in her first sit-down interview in six years with Bustle, Olivia reflected on the emotional toll. "There was a time where I wanted to completely shut off everything, fall in a hole, and never show my face again," she said. "I think it takes perseverance and, honestly, thick skin to keep going. Time heals."
Lori has been gradually returning to public life, making a rare appearance with Olivia in April 2026, where she debuted a new bob haircut. The family has also reportedly undergone a private shift, with sources revealing in October 2025 that Lori and her husband of 27 years, Mossimo Giannulli, had separated.
As Olivia rebuilds her career, her sister Bella notes that her confidence is returning. "I'm watching her personality and comfort online come back," she said. "It's what her fans initially fell in love with when they first started watching her."
