Cruz Beckham sparks music speculation with a countdown post and guitar image on Instagram

Cruz Beckham has set social media alight with speculation about a forthcoming music release after posting a mysterious countdown message on Instagram.

The announcement

The 21-year-old aspiring musician took to his Instagram Story on 18 May to share an image of a close-up guitar overlaid with the words "something coming to you at 12:00."

The post immediately prompted speculation among fans as to whether he is preparing to release new material or make a formal announcement about an upcoming project.

Victoria Beckham joins in the tease

His mother, Victoria Beckham, appeared to add fuel to the speculation with a post of her own. She shared a photograph of several guitar cases and pieces of equipment arranged inside what appeared to be a home office, writing over the image: "Looks like my office has turned into cruzbeckham music room."

Cruz subsequently reshared a post from his mother on the same day, which showed him holding a guitar and performing alongside another musician.

The moment appeared to have been captured at a small, informal performance held during his maternal grandfather's milestone birthday celebration, as it featured within a carousel of images from the event.

A musical journey years in the making

Cruz has spent recent years building a public identity around music, regularly sharing clips of himself playing guitar and working on new material across social media. His interest in the industry dates back to his teenage years, when he was first linked to early music projects.

He first attracted attention in music circles after releasing a charity single as a child and has since periodically teased studio sessions and collaborations online.

The youngest son of Victoria and David Beckham has also been actively performing live with his band, The Breakers, as part of his ongoing For Your Love tour.

The run has already taken him across the United Kingdom and Europe, and is now expanding into larger headline shows and international festival slots in 2026.
