Sir Lewis Hamilton praises Kim Kardashian’s support at Monaco Grand Prix
The F1 star said it was 'amazing' to have her cheering from the stands during his race
Sir Lewis Hamilton has expressed gratitude for the support of Kim Kardashian, who attended the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday to cheer him on during a standout race performance.
The 41-year-old Formula 1 driver finished second in the race, strengthening his position in the drivers’ championship standings after a competitive outing behind Kimi Antonelli.
Speaking after the race, Hamilton described having friends and loved ones in the crowd as a meaningful boost, noting that Kardashian’s presence added to a memorable weekend.
Lewis Hamilton said it was “amazing” to have her support trackside, adding that she continues to encourage him both publicly and privately.
“Yeah, it’s amazing to have her come this weekend and have her support,” Hamilton said. “It’s amazing to have good people around you and supporting you. And she does that for me every day.”
The appearance marked Kim Kardashian’s first public attendance at a Formula 1 race since the pair were linked romantically earlier this year, further fueling interest in their relationship.
Hamilton was seen acknowledging supporters after the podium finish, appearing to gesture toward Kardashian in the crowd.
Beyond the personal moment, the Ferrari driver said the result reinforced his motivation as he continues his push for a first win since joining the team last season.
“It inspires me to level up,” he said, reflecting on his current position in the championship. “I can’t believe I am second in the championship, and I am really happy and grateful.”
He added that competing at the front of the field remains a strong driving force, noting that continued progress with his team is the priority as the season continues.
Meanwhile, Kardashian — who shares four children with her former husband Kanye West — has reportedly been spending increasing time with Hamilton, with sources describing the relationship as more than casual.
According to people close to the pair, the two have travelled together in recent months, including trips to Japan, France, and the United Kingdom, and have also been seen together at public events, including the 2026 Super Bowl.
Sources also suggest the relationship began as a friendship and has since developed into a closer connection, with both parties said to be balancing busy professional schedules while making time for each other.
The couple’s growing public appearances have continued to draw attention, with insiders noting that those close to them view the relationship as serious, given their long-standing friendship and shared history.
