- Lopez nearly suffered a wardrobe malfunction during a beach scene with Goldstein.
- An insider said the co-stars grew very cosy at the wrap party.
- Lopez shut down dating rumours during a live appearance on the Today show.
Jennifer Lopez came close to a wardrobe malfunction during a flirty "Office Romance" scene alongside her co-star Brett Goldstein in their new Netflix rom-com.
The actress, who takes on the role of Jackie Cruz in the film, left little to the imagination as she reclined on the beach in a brown string bikini opposite Goldstein's character, Daniel Blanchflower.
Lopez was spotted retying one of the strings on her bikini bottoms before brushing sand from her behind. "My god, I have so much sand in my butt!" Lopez, 56, said. "If you turn me over you could tell time," she quipped.
Lopez and Goldstein's on-screen roles
In the Netflix rom-com, Lopez's character is an airline chief executive and pilot who develops feelings for Blanchflower, the company's newly appointed in-house lawyer, played by Goldstein.
Off-screen connection
The duo were said to have had "undeniable chemistry" both on and off the screen, though an insider told Page Six they "kept things professional" throughout the production.
"They tried to keep things low-key during the months while filming but flirted here and there on set, and they definitely had a strong connection," the source explained.
The source added, "Everyone saw them getting very cozy together at the wrap party and it was obvious they were into each other."
The co-stars also socialised beyond the set, attending a performance of "Oh, Mary!" on Broadway together in New York City.
Lopez praises Goldstein's charm
Lopez was open about her admiration for her co-star when she spoke about their "great chemistry" on the 2026 Netflix Upfront red carpet in May.
"It just grew as we did the film together," she told People. "I expected more of a rough guy, but you get this kind, gentle but also very smart person that is so charming. That was a surprise, I think."
Lopez shuts down dating rumours
Despite the reports of closeness, Lopez moved to put an end to dating speculation surrounding herself and the Ted Lasso star during an appearance on Today earlier this month.
"There's never a time when I'm seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don't try to put me with the person," the Enough star said in response to host Savannah Guthrie. "It happens all the time. Doesn't make it true."
When Guthrie pressed further, asking "OK, so you're not dating in real life?", Lopez replied plainly: "Not dating."
