Bebe Rexha shares dating struggles, says multimillionaires slide into her dms
The singer reveals what she looks for in a future partner and shares why money alone does not impress her
Bebe Rexha has opened up about her journey through heartbreak, personal growth, and her search for the right partner, admitting she is still looking for someone who shares her values.
The I’m Good (Blue) singer recently released her first independent album, Dirty Blonde, after leaving her former record label in 2025. The project explores themes of love, loss and rebuilding herself after difficult experiences.
Speaking withPeople about her personal life, Rexha revealed that she is hoping to find a partner she can build a future with, joking that she is still searching for her “baby daddy.”
The Grammy-nominated artist explained that her latest music reflects some of the emotional challenges she has faced, including a painful breakup that inspired songs such as The Way I Want You and Required Love.
“I finally fell in love with somebody that I felt like could be the one, or was the one, and then getting broken up with was hard,” she said.
Rexha also reflected on how heartbreak has shaped her perspective, explaining that difficult experiences have not only come from relationships but also from other areas of life.
“I’ve encountered heartbreak in different ways,” she said, adding that it “doesn’t have to just be love and relationships.”
The singer previously opened up about experiencing a pregnancy loss and living with polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), a condition that can affect fertility and pregnancy.
She said being open about those experiences is important because many people still do not fully understand women’s health issues.
As she continues looking for love, Rexha said she knows exactly what qualities matter to her in a partner.
She explained that she wants someone who is kind, has strong morals, communicates well and is willing to work on themselves.
The singer also joked that she is not focused on finding someone based on appearance or wealth, but she does not want a partner who relies on her financially.
“I’m very traditional. I don’t want to be paying for everything,” she said.
While Rexha has not found the right person yet, she revealed that some wealthy admirers have tried to get her attention through social media.
She said some men have messaged her claiming they are multimillionaires and asking her out, but she prefers a more genuine approach.
The singer explained that she would rather someone start with a simple connection rather than leading with their money.
