Benny Blanco takes boat across Atlantic to reunite with Selena Gomez
The music producer documented his transatlantic voyage on TikTok as he travelled to London
Benny Blanco is proving just how far he is willing to go for love.
The music producer revealed that he is travelling from the United States to the United Kingdom by boat to reunite with his wife, Selena Gomez, ahead of her 34th birthday on July 22, avoiding air travel because of his longstanding fear of flying.
Sharing the journey on TikTok, Blanco posted a photo of himself aboard a vessel with the caption, "POV: ur traveling across the atlantic in the titanic to see ur wife bc ur scared of flying."
He also added, "the things we do for love."
In another clip, Blanco filmed the open sea while pointing toward an object visible in the distance as he documented his transatlantic voyage.
The couple have been spending time apart in recent weeks while Gomez has been in London filming the upcoming sixth season of Only Murders in the Building.
Last month, the singer and actress shared a series of photos of the pair on social media, including a romantic snapshot of Blanco kissing her chest.
Alongside the images, she wrote, "distance means so little when someone means so much…. itsbennyblanco mish you bb."
Blanco recently reflected on the early days of their relationship, revealing that they kept their romance private for about eight or nine months before making it public in December 2023. The couple later married in September 2025.
Speaking to Spain's El País, Blanco recalled Gomez asking whether he was ready for the attention that would come with dating one of the world's biggest stars.
"And she asked me, 'Are you sure you want to do this? I understand if you want us to just be friends,'" he said. "And then I said, 'You know what? Screw it.'"
The producer also explained why he prefers to keep his personal life out of the spotlight, saying public figures face constant scrutiny no matter what they do.
"We're lucky because we both have friends and family we've known since before all this, and we're surrounded by a good group of people we love," Blanco said, adding, "I don't like to expose my life. Famous people are under constant scrutiny: if you say one thing, it's wrong, and if you say another, it's also wrong."
