'90 Day Fiancé’s Kenny Niedermeier updates fans on Hannah’s health crisis
Kenny Niedermeier shares Hannah is recovering well after her latest procedure
Armando Rubio and Kenny Niedermeier shared a positive update on their daughter Hannah after the 13-year-old underwent another procedure following a brain bleed.
Niedermeier posted a photo of Hannah from her hospital bed on his Instagram Stories on Friday, reassuring followers that “She came out of the latest procedure very well.” He added that “more updates soon” would follow and thanked supporters, writing, “Thank you all again for all the care and kindness. We are grateful.”
Rubio, who remains in Mexico because immigration issues prevented him from crossing into the US, reshared the update on his own Instagram Stories.
Hannah underwent surgery after suffering a brain bleed
The health scare began earlier this week when Rubio noticed Hannah's face had become “droopy” and that one side of her body “had no strength.” She was first taken to a local hospital in Mexico before being transferred by ambulance to Arizona and later airlifted to Phoenix for specialised treatment.
Doctors eventually diagnosed the teenager with a brain bleed.
Niedermeier, who had been in Ohio attending a family funeral, has remained by Hannah's bedside in Arizona alongside Rubio's mother while Rubio has been unable to join them.
Armando Rubio says being apart has been 'the hardest thing'
Rubio previously revealed that US Customs and Border Protection denied his request for temporary humanitarian parole, preventing him from travelling to Arizona to be with his daughter.
“Every parent wants to be at their child’s bedside when they’re sick, and not being able to hold her hand or comfort her has been the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced,” he told Page Six.
In an emotional Instagram update before the latest procedure, Rubio said doctors hoped an angiogram would help determine the cause of Hannah's condition after an MRI “gave no answers.”
Fighting back tears, he admitted, “I miss my baby girl. I don’t want to lose her.”
Rubio also thanked fans for supporting the family's GoFundMe campaign, saying, “You guys all have been angels through this and made it a little easier, even though I can’t be with her.”
