Taking to Instagram before the show, the 76-year-old artist reflected on the incredible journey of the tour, which encompassed over 333 concerts and attracted more than 6 million devoted fans.
The I'm Still Standing singer expressed his gratitude for the tremendous support and the unforgettable moments shared throughout the tour.
The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour has not only been a sentimental goodbye for Elton John but also a record-breaking success.
According to Billboard Boxscore, the tour grossed an astounding $910.4 million on June 18, surpassing the $900 million milestone and securing its place in history as the highest-grossing tour ever.
This achievement placed Elton John far ahead of previous record-holders Ed Sheeran and U2.
