Andrew Tate sparks online debate after ridiculing Margot Robbie starrer 'Barbie'

Controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate has taken a brutal dig at the latest released summer Hollywood blockbuster film Barbie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling in the leading roles.

Andrew – the former professional kickboxer – turned to Twitter and took a brutal and NSFW dig at the much-hyped film of the year.

Expressing his disinterest in Greta Gerwig’s directed film, Andrew tweeted, "Only Barbie movie Im watching takes place at bedtime."

Andrew’s hypothetical take on Barbie sparked a debate on the internet with users defending the Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling film.

One internet user asked, "Are you alright mate?" Another commented, "Well yeah you're under house arrest, you'll have to pirate it and watch in bed."

Another added, "I get what he was going for here but this is an awful attempt at a joke."

While many of his fans came forward in his support and wrote, "You are the real ken." Another added, "Andrew, you’re also a comedian."

Following Barbie's release in theatres on July 21st, Andrew Tate’s brother Tristan Tate shared his thoughts on the film and addressed the criticism the movie received from some "full-grown" men.

On Twitter, Tristan defended Margot Robbie's casting as the iconic doll and lauded the actress for her attractiveness and talents.

Barbie was released in cinemas along with Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer this weekend.
