Atlanta rapper Young Capone passes away at 35
Young Capone died at the age of 35 before he went missing in July, 2023
Young Capone has passed away at the age of 35 after reportedly going missing last month.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Capone’s publicist Aleesha Carter announced the tragic news of his death.
Aleesha began in her post, “This is with a heavy heavy heart that I’m even posting this. We made magic when we strategically put out projects, always.”
“Young Capone aka Dopeboy Ra aka Rara was one of my first Hip Hop/ Rap clients, and I can’t believe the news I just got of his unexpected passing,” the publicist continued.
Her statement further read, “A friend…a client and just huge in East Atlanta. This is not the easiest post at all. Rest easy, RIP.”
The cause of Young Capone’s death has not been revealed yet but he reportedly went missing last month in Chicago.
Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., famously known as Tip, paid tribute to the rapper on his social media account.
Taking to Instagram, he mourned, “The Grand Hustle family is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of RaRa (formally known as Young Capone)”
“We are sending our sincere condolences to his family, children, friends and the Atlanta community.”
He claimed that his Grand Hustle brother (Young Capone) will truly be missed for his remarkable presence and effortless talent.
Tip captioned a photo on Instagram, “Deeply saddened by the loss of an Atlanta/Trap Muzik Legend. Sending my sincerest condolences to his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.”
