Former child star Amanda Bynes is taking significant steps towards personal change and growth, as she seeks to remove a heart-shaped tattoo from her face.

Recent photos show that the tattoo beneath her eye has noticeably faded compared to how it appeared previously.

Tattoo removal requires multiple sessions, with the ink gradually fading during the process.

In addition, the She's the Man star was seen in Los Angeles with platinum blonde hair, signaling a new chapter in her life.

This transformation comes after a series of personal challenges, including being placed on a couple of 5150 holds this year, including one instance where she was found wandering the streets unclothed.

In July, Amanda voluntarily checked herself into an Orange County mental health treatment center, just a week after leaving a Los Angeles-area facility.

Sources close to Amanda revealed that she preferred the new center because it allowed her to be surrounded by a medical team, therapists, and fellow patients, rather than being alone.

Amanda Bynes Mental Health:

Amanda Bynes faced a very public struggle with mental health issues, particularly bipolar disorder.

Her journey has shed light on the challenges many individuals face when dealing with such conditions.

Bynes' experience included periods of erratic behavior, social media outbursts, and encounters with law enforcement.

Her bipolar disorder, a mental illness characterized by extreme mood swings, often led to manic episodes where impulsivity and poor judgment were evident.

In 2023, Bynes was placed under a 72-hour psychiatric hold following a situation in Los Angeles.

TMZ obtained videos of Amanda running errands and shopping in Orange County at the end of last month, marking her first public appearance since her stay at the facility there.
