Keke Palmer takes legal action against ex Darius Jackson: Details

Keke Palmer has made a serious allegation of domestic violence against her baby daddy Darius Jackson.

The Nope actress also reportedly filed for a restraining order and custody of her 8-month-old son Leodis in Los Angeles.

According to the report of California Superior Court filing, “Darius trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent, threatened me, then physically attacked me — lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police.”

She has supplemented her claims with screenshots depicting what seems to be surveillance footage capturing a man assaulting a woman on a couch.

The Alice star asserted that, over two years, Jackson, aged 30, subjected her to multiple instances of abuse.

In another disturbing incident, she claims, “home security footage [from] February 13, 2022 when Darius body slammed me onto the stairs by my neck.”

Palmer made the revelation, “many instances of physical violence, including striking and grabbing me around the neck, descriptions of Darius destroying my personal property, including diaries and prescription eyeglasses, throwing my belongings into the street, throwing my car keys to prevent me from driving away, hitting my in front of our son, spewing profanities about me to our son, threatening to kill himself with a gun if I left him, harassment, and other physical and emotional abuse.”

Palmer asserts that the entire episode was recorded by her residence's security camera, and she intends to present the footage during the court hearing.

She recounts pursuing him outside to reclaim her phone, highlighting an alarming incident where he came dangerously close to hitting her with his car. 

Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson romantically linked in early 2021 and they welcomed their first child on 27 February, 2023.
