Former ‘Friends' actress Jessica Hecht shared emotional reflections on the passing of co-star Matthew Perry
Jessica Hecht remembered her late Friends co-star Matthew Perry, recalling his youthful playfulness and easygoing nature.
At the Manhattan Theatre Club’s 2023 Fall Gala on Monday, the actress told to Page Six, "He (Perry) was so silly when he was young, and he was so easy to love."
Hecht, who is known for her role as Ross Geller’s wife Susan Bunch also shared her favorite episode from the NBC sitcom is "The One With the Breast Milk," highlighting Perry's humorous attempt to taste breast milk.
Hecht further said, "His [Perry’s] was the silliest attempt to taste the breast milk,I just remember how kind he was and how he tried to make everyone else at ease."
She also noted that the 17 Again star "was kinder to other people [than to himself], as many people are who suffer from addiction and all of that — just desperate for other people to be relieved from the pain that they feel."

Matthew Perry, best known for his role as Chandler Bing, died on October 28, 2023, leaving an indelible mark on the entertainment world.
The actor was discovered unresponsive in his hot tub at his Los Angeles home.

Two days after Matthew Perry's demise, the main Friends cast members issued a joint statement saying they were "utterly devastated" by the unexpected loss.
They stated, "We were more than just castmates. We are a family, There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."
